This page lists every page on the site, grouped the same way the sections are: the celebrity profiles, the collecting guides, the rubrics on marks, eBay and famous objects, the art pages, the section pages and the pages about the site itself.

How the site is organized

Go-Star Antiquing & Collecting has two sections. The antiques section holds the collecting guides, the Celebrity Collector profiles and the rubric pages. The Art & Artists section holds the articles on painters and on performers who turned to art. Each section has an entrance page that explains what is in it and in which order to read it.

The groups below follow the same arrangement as the article index, with the section pages and the site pages added at the end. Every entry gives the subject of the article and its date (the month of the original issue, or the month the article is first recorded online), so the list also works as a quick index of dates.

The Celebrity Collector profiles describe what actors, comedians, newspaper owners and other public figures collected, from mechanical banks and cookie jars to vintage aircraft, motorcycles and the contents of Hearst Castle. The collecting guides each take one material or kind of object and explain makers, marks, reproductions and dated sale results. The third group gathers the shorter rubrics: famous objects with a story, the When Was series, eBay sales, Cowan’s Corner and the Hollywood photography pieces.

The art pages cover painters collectors look for, such as the Florida Highwaymen, and performers whose art grew into a second career. The section pages at the end of the list are the entrance pages of the rubrics, among them Antique Detective on marks and fakes and Ask the Civil War Collector on relics and letters. The site pages explain who edits the site, how to reach the editors, what the site records about visitors and how AI is used.

Questions and answers

Where can I find every article on Go-Star Antiquing & Collecting?

This site map lists every page, grouped by section, with the date of each article. The article index lists the same articles by rubric with a short line on each, and the antiques section page explains the collecting guides in reading order.

How are the articles on Go-Star grouped?

By rubric. The Celebrity Collector profiles come first, then the collecting guides by material, then the shorter rubrics such as Famous Antiques, When Was and What’s Selling on eBay, then the Art & Artists pages. The section pages and the pages about the site close the list.

Is there a search function on the site?

No. The site is small enough to browse: the site map, the article index and the section pages together link to every article within one or two clicks. Each article also ends with further reading on related subjects.

Is there an XML sitemap of Go-Star for search engines?

Yes. Search engines read the XML sitemap at /sitemap.xml, which lists the same pages as this page with the date each one was last changed. Older articles keep their original date, so the dates in the XML file match the dates shown on the articles themselves.
