With the New Year, it is time for the final exam for 2012. Below are the photos of the famous people profiled during the past year. If this were The Amazing Race, you would be required to put them in order of the month they appeared in the magazine. But it’s not, so simply naming each person will be sufficient.

Score yourself in this way:
12: Bravo! You are incredibly well-read and historically intelligent.
9-11: Excellent! You not only paid attention in history class, you have studied
history on your own, and you do not repeat the mistakes of history.
5-8: Good! You have good background knowledge of historical figures.
3-4: Okay. You scored higher than 95% of high school students and 85% of
college students. (I made those figures up—95% of people make up the
numbers they quote, you know.)
1-2: Keep reading “Name That Famous Person” in 2013. There will be another
test next year.
By the way, for those of you who attempted to put the famous people in chronological order by the month, you probably guessed they are already listed in chronological order.
